Purchase Response - flawless delivery

Responsive Maintenance ServicesWe have a strong belief in what can be achieved through the regeneration and care of communities and the track record to show we can create long-term, sustainable improvements and change.

The Purchase Group was established to carry out repairs and maintenance services to social housing landlords and we are driven by a desire to provide the highest levels of Customer service through a process we call ‘flawless delivery’.

All of the responsive maintenance work we undertake is tailored to the needs and aspirations of individual Clients and Customers, ensuring the best service possible for everyone we work with.

Successful Responsive Maintenance Services require flexibility and a capability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances at a moment’s notice. Our commitment to our Clients, and our passion to deliver services that exceed their expectations, have been key factors in our successful adoption of services provided by other Contractors, who failed, and collapsed.

Successful IT integration is crucial to the successful delivery of responsive maintenance services in the social housing sector. Purchase Group has invested heavily in creating integrated IT solutions which interface with Client Management systems seamlessly and flawlessly, and provide the flexibility necessary to deliver market leading responsive maintenance services. Maximising the flexibility provided by integrated IT solutions enables our Repairs Schedulers to offer all Customers an appointment for their repairs, and the use of GPS, and the deployment of multi-skilled tradespeople enables us to maximise productivity and reduce vehicle journeys through the application of ‘Route Logic’.

All of the services rovided by Purchase Response are tailored to the individual needs of each Client, and the aspirations of each Client’s Customers. This includes the manner in which the Client seeks to deliver their service.
Mechanisms we have used for the delivery of responsive maintenance and voids services have included:

  • ‘Open book’ arrangements based upon delivery using a dedicated ‘ring fenced’ workforce and materials supplied at cost
  • Schedule of Rates; using a variety of different versions of the NHMF Schedule of Rates and Client’s own bespoke Schedules of Rates
  • Fixed cost per property, charged on an annual basis and covering all responsive repairs across the whole housing stock
  • Property ‘MOT’s’; targeting housing stock with a poor history of demanding a high level of annual maintenance, bringing the stock up to a ‘fit for purpose’ standard through a single package of works, thereby reducing ongoing maintenance costs and liabilities
  •  Packaged Repairs to rationalise and group together repairs to achieve the greatest cost effectiveness.
